The phrase “You don't have cards without us” is on the ‘value’ plane, and the phrase “I don't play cards here” is on the “value” plane.
These planes do not overlap: an old worn photo from a personal album may have zero value, but infinite value to an elderly person.
In the plane of “value” one makes deals, and pays with other people's lives and not one's own territories. The “value” plane is guided by morality and justice, prioritizing human lives and dignity.
These planes do not intersect. So how can people dwelling on such different planes come to terms with each other?
There is only one chance: the hope that the majority of the people of the civilized world, on whom the “card player” still depends, believe in the existence of values and consider their plane to be above the plane of “value”.
